Neem Rana - Rajasthan close to Delhi

When I moved to Bangalore, I loved it, one because of the weather and other because the long weekend had so many places to offer. I did multiple treks around Bangalore. Few of them multiple times :). Now lately, I have started looking at North India and have started feeling that there are so many places I can go around for a long weekend Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, J&K, Rajashtan. This realization came when one of the days I was in Delhi, sitting at home and was getting bored.

As I had a day to spare, I decided to go to Neem Rana in Rajasthan mainly because of zipping available in its Fort and also because its located just 126 km from Delhi. So, one morning I left for Neem Rana with my nephews. As I wasn't driving, I slept in the backseat in a warm cozy blanket! and it was really really nice. Literally in no time we reached Neem Rana.
The sign boards can clearly tell you the direction for the fort.

You can only enter the fort if you decide to either stay there, have lunch buffet for 1600 INR per person or if you are doing zipping.

The place has many activities to do.First and foremost is explore the whole fort. You can download the 'incomplete' audio guide from play store, which will give you the information about different areas in the fort.

The next best thing to do is zipping. They have 4 zip lines and its a good fun! Does it give you adrenaline rush? May be yes if this is your first adventure sport. For me, it was fun, interesting to learn but my whole concentration was to become better at it so that I dont stop in the middle and go till the end of the zip line.

If you book online for zipping its cheaper compared to when you book on the spot so plan it in advance. There are also student discounts etc.

If you are staying in the fort for a night, you can use the swimming pool, play carom board, chess, table tennis etc. as part of the stay.

Well as it was the short trip so the blogpost is also short :). It definitely was a nice break with amazing fort to explore, some great pictures to take and to do zipping over the Neem Rana fort.
